Feeling a bit discourage today so I have cheated pretty big time. I worked so hard with exercising and cutting my calories last week and only lost 1/2 a pound. The other two weeks have not worked so hard and lost a lot more. Grrrr....I guess I am reaching that plateau where you either work harder or give in to defeat. Well, I am going to work harder. I had my pity party how it's back to sweating it out. I know I can do this and if I have to do it 1/2 a pound at a time then so be it.

It's Monday and I had a great weekend filled with lots of exercise. This week I am taking a challenge of reducing my calorie intake to 1300 per day down from 1500. Hopfully I will see continued results. I am so motivated right now and I really hope it continues.

My husband and I got up this morning and took a hike up a mountain trail that is popular in our community. It was an awesome day and the view was amazing as it always is. It was a tuff walk up then we sat and enjoyed the view for a while. The walk down was a breeze and a great low impact workout after the intensity of going up. I feel so good right now and I am in a good place with my food cravings. I really hope I can keep this up. I am eating what I want just in moderation. I feel like I will eventually reach a plateau where I will have to put more work into my exercise routine but I think I can handle that. My light at the end of the tunnel is a beach trip in July...:-)

I weighed in today and I am down 5 pounds in a week. That is a total of 8 pounds in two weeks. Only 17 more to go to reach my logical goal of 150. My true desire is to be 140 so we will see...
