Argh... definitely a set back weekend.
Long weekend I would have thought would have meant lots of walks and exercise, but oddly I haven't done a thing. I will though as soon as I finish this post. Foodwise hasn't been disastrous, but visiting with friends meant eating pizza and having (low fat) brownies, low fat frozen yogurt (albeit topped with fresh straw berries and blueberries for desert.
Otherwise, we've been living off cereal (probably not such a good idea with skimmed milk and stew with lots of veggies and only a little beef (although probably too much barley) and yesterday when I got snacky, I at first reached for cheese and crackers, but then peeled and ate a carrot.
So... some good, some bad, better get my but exercising before I lose the exercise space to other activities

Well, its been a busy week so my excercise has gone out the window, but I've been running around constantly and too busy to snack. I've mostly stayed on the healthy side of eating - give or take green frog jube jubes and a packet of shared m and m's.

Sigh... probably just losing muscle... I miss the pool and my bike already. On the up side, we aren't eating out as much.

Its disappointing after a summer of biking, hiking and swimming that I've only lost 8 lbs. I know I've gained fitness and muscle tone, but I'd hoped to make a real dent in the weight I gained last winter before going back to a high stress, low time environment where vegatbles are hard to come by... I still need to lose 15 lbs to be back in the range of mildly overweight and I really need to lose 25 to get back to my ideal weight. I think its time to have a strict diet.
