With my new lifestyle I’m trying to find my way to understand how the body works. I went for a Doc appointment this morning and my weight is 283🙌🏾
I’m going to take it not just “one day at a time”
But, i’m going to chop it up into pieces like half a day at a time- maybe this will help me stay more positive about my journey.
I’m also going to check my scale at home just to make sure that it’s accurate ⚖️

I began my journey with weight loss for better health on the week of my 58th Birthday🎉🎈🛐
I started going to Lifestyle Management ay my doctors back in June 2023. When i first weighed in i was 292 lbs and when i returned 1 month later i was 286 lbs and Dr Turner was pleased with my progress. She stressed that I begin to log in what i eat during the day and struggled to be able to use the app that she suggested, but i did try. It wasn’t until i found Fat-secret that i realized that it works to jot down what you have eaten bc it keeps you mindful of what you eat. It helps me focus more on being aware of eating for nutrition rather than just eating. I find that I don’t get hungry when I choose to snack with my fruits and then i’m just wanting to see myself eat something that’s good for me and my challenge is to stay hydrated too.
