I totally overindulged this weekend. Went out for pizza and gelato on Sunday. Monday there was cupcakes and popcorn. Didn't feel so good this morning when I woke up...clearly there's a lesson in there....
Today involves going to the gym and getting in Week 5 - Mix 1 of my First Day to 5K running program, as well as doing some weights. Have to remember to pack some snacks for after because I'm at work from 5 til 11.
So, when I weigh in a little later this week, I'm not expecting to be much below the 168 that I recorded last week. If I am, it will be a pleasant surprise!
Still looking to get down around 160-165 for July/August...I can do this!

Feeling pretty good, except for this ache running down the front of my right leg. I jumped a really high step in the rain when I was thirteen and didn't quite make it. Result - smashed my shin bone hard enough to chip the bone, but not break my leg. So sometimes high impact exercise like running can cause it to ache like a mofo...
Or maybe it's aching due to the fact that we're finally getting the rain that's been forecast since Friday. Man, is it ever pouring out there! And the wind is pretty damn chilly too! Especially when compared to the lovely 20+ Celcius we've had over the past few days.
Going to try and get and get to a BodyFlow class this morning, run a few errands and then meet up with a trainer for my monthly assessment.

I am having one of those days where I need to do what feels like a million things, and yet, I am motivated to do zero of them. Absolutely zero things!
I woke up at 7am this morning, with every intention of hitting the gym before work. I sat down to have breakfast and thought, "Meh, I can always go tomorrow. I did go to the gym Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week." So I ate breakfast and went to work.
After work, I rushed home and went grocery shopping. Then I did laundry.
Now, I'm sitting here, in front of the computer, thinking about all the other things I should be doing. Like dusting, putting away the clean laundry, doing dishes, finishing the damn crochet project I started three weeks ago, putting away the last of the groceries, maybe make myself a snack.
Nope...I've spent the last hour playing Bejeweled 3 and drinking water.

I think getting to the gym is paying off. And eating smaller meals certainly helps! Wonder if I can finally crack the 160s!?!

The holiday Monday was a total write-off, diet wise. Pizza, beer and popcorn. I did do a lot of walking, though...
I'm going to the gym pretty often - I'm trying for at least four days a week. Let's see what tomorrow will bring!
