I stepped back and took serious stock in some things.

I changed jobs. I work for a laundromat now. I do pick up and delivery two days a week and work in the laundromat two days a week wash/dry/fold service. We have a contract with a local college. This week is 28 students. That is a lot of laundry. Last week, turns out I did 350 pounds of just student laundry lol. I was asked today why I don't feel like doing my own laundry, lol. Gee I wonder.

It is a whole lot less stress than being a deli manager, that is for sure. However, my weight is on the incline again.

In stepping back, I went over my general goals. Broke them down into smaller chunks making them more manageable. Not necessarily easier to get done, just more realistic for what all is happening.

I am noticing with my weight on the incline again, I am having more pain and mobility issues. Time to shift some things and get it off again.

Hope everyone is having a blessed evening.
Great going everyone! We got this!

I woke up this morning, medically released and couldn't wait to get to the gym. I was unable to do the full extent of my workout, but something is better than nothing. Its not easy being laid up and on light duty for work. I gained weight, stopped eating properly, and mentally, well that took a slide down the rabbit hole.

I looked at the scale this morning and honestly started laughing. I knew I was gaining, I can always tell when I break the 200 mark. I am just glad that I didn't gain as much as I thought I had. Now, I can get back into the swing of things and God willing, get back down.

With the ever increasing stress at work, I put in my resignation. I started losing sleep, no real drive, anger issues I haven't seen since my 20's, weight gain, loss of appetite... just to name a few things. Then I had my accident. After submitting my resignation, I honestly took a deep breath and have started mentally feeling better. This causes different stressors, but they aren't what I have been living with on a daily basis. Coming home, showering and sitting in a chair because I am so mentally drained. Physically, that is just another story. I was rear ended a month ago, and yesterday was medically released for full activities.

I am on a journey to heal mentally, and slowly build my physical wellbeing back up. I just Thank God I am able to walk this journey to heal both my mind and body.
