I'm a 36 year old professional gal who has been either on, or breaking a diet for...ohh... 20 years now? When you wanna talk yo-yoing, I'm your woman. But this time it is different! I'm coming up to 40kg down over 2 years, and I have completely redefined my 'normal'.

I'm a sassy smartass who doesn't really take much seriously. If you're going to buddy me, know that!

I'm a nerd, love my Doctor Who, Star Trek, Stargate, anything Joss Whedon, Farscape, Battlestar Galactica etc. etc. I'm getting to a weight where I can start considering cosplay, and that's as exciting as all-get-out.

I'm learning to love exercise and have found motivation in wanting be be fitter, faster and better for Taekwondo. I started in 2014, and aim to have my Black Belt by the end of the year.

Diet Pills
Alli works by blocking fat. If you're not eating fat, it doesn't do anything. If you are eating fat, there is a good chance it will "block" it by making it leak uncontrollably from your anus.

Basically, it's a punishment drug. You lose weight, because you lower your calories by lowering your fat intake because you're too scared to eat fat because of the side effects. It's as effective as someone following you around with a cattle prod and giving you a zap when you eat something high fat.

How much green tea?
Its impact on metabolism is so small as to be meaningless, unfortunately it is one of those things that science said "hey, this affects the metabolism a bit!" and the diet industry saw dollar signs and ran with it.

I drink it daily too, but same as you, not for the effect.

Dr. Pepper
Can you ask the attendant if you can get a look at the refill/container? It should have all the info on it.

when to weigh
^^ Completely agree. By the end of the day you've eaten, consumed fluids etc, and the density of that food will be different from day to day, plus things like salt and exterior temperature may affect water retention.

First thing in the morning you've fasted for a number of hours and gone the longest you'll generally go without consuming anything, so it will be the least variable point of the day.
