It was a nice Easter--cold, but much of my family was here today. And there was food galore! I would be so happy to say that I did not partake of the fabulous cakes and rolls, but I did. So tomorrow is another day and Weight Watchers goes on!

Feeling pretty good today about my progress. Need to drink more water and exercise more. Easter should be an experience tomorrow in moderation!

Finally! I recorded my weight history for the past two months. Not a pretty story, but even unpleasant stories must be told. I am happy to say that I am back, as of these past 6 days. I feel so much better. Backsliding is a devious path...very deceptive. You get over-confident of your ability to take off weight that you gained. "Oh, I can take that off quick. It's water weight." Or "Well, I don't regret eating that. It was Valentine's Day (insert any other occasion with food)" You quickly forget that a few days off program can easily turn into weeks and even months. Couple that with stopping/being inconsistent with an exercise routine and you have a recipe for disaster. I found myself choosing to binge and hide food from others frequently and felt extremely depressed.
So here I am...humbled, embarrased by the gain of hard-lost weight...but working on a new beginning.
