losing 4.0 lb a week
30 March 2015
Just finished 1st week of 21 day fix. Whew! It kicked by butt but it was so worth the results so far. Down 5 lbs and 5 in all over. I have followed plan to a "T". The meal plan is so easy and filling. I love the portion control containers and not counting calories. The DVDs are 30 min- so hard for me. But I love the whole plan. For the first time in a long time I know I can do this!!

Well here I am again, not anywhere close to my goal weight. I have managed to let the weight creep back on by allowing myself to get sidetracked. I always seem to move forward a step and then go backwards 3. I was doing very well up until Jan 2014 (I was at 175- I had lost about 15 pounds). My mom passed away in her sleep (very unexpected) while my daughter and I were visiting.
After spending two weeks helping my dad get things in order- I forgot about any routine for exercising (and dieting). I'd go one day, then nothing for two days or a week.
Its like I know the equation for losing weight, but cant seem to apply it long term.
But i do know that doing nothing will get me nowhere, so its a new day tomorrow and I have a date with boot camp.

I have been AOL in every phase of healthy eating, exercising for a month or so. Ever since Indoor soccer ended for the summer. I have been on 2 business trips which is a big struggle for me. I know it's in part that I am at a hotel with continental breakfast and I just can't seem to walk away from the yummy belgion waffles (it's truly a treat and the only time I get them.). Lunch is at places like Applebees or Ruby Tuesday which is a Dinner for me, then they all want to go to another restaurant like Outback or something later. It's hard for me to say I want to do my own thing because I don't like to feel I am rude.
So here I am 6 pounds up and needing to gain momentum again. I read in someone else's journal entry that "A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step" I love that!
