I'm back on track with my diet and exercise, now that I am off antibiotics and well again! I was sick for long, I forgot what it felt like to be better!!

I have been ill with a sinus infection and UTI. Somehow, I had an old residual believe that when I'm sick overeating will help. After all, "Feed a cold and starve a fever." is the old adage.
Fresh fruit and strawberries are the healthy answer to illness. That's my new attitude. I don't "earn the right" to overeat just because I'm sick. I'm not going to get well on "junk food." Thus, I do not need to overeat when I'm ill.
I've been on antibiotics for almost a week for a sinus infection and UTI. I have been very low on energy. Eating more doesn't help me to get better faster.
In conclusion, Fresh strawberries have plenty of vitamin C and they are a better snack than popcorn and pound cake!

I still have a sinus infection, but I'm hoping to get some exercise today, especially general housekeeping and vacuuming.
I need to clean out the van and get it backed up with things to take to Ohio for my sister. I will wash and vacuum the van at home instead of the car wash.

For 2 weeks, I have been sick with an upper respiratory infection/sinus infection. Plus, I had to do corporate tax returns, farm tax return and personal tax returns. I gave myself misery permission to eat what I felt like eating. I gained back a couple pounds. I didn't weigh in and I didn't keep up with my calorie count. I didn't get any exercise either! This was a fatal combination, of course. I just gave up for about 17 days or more.
I am feeling better now, so I am back on track again. I went back and listened to the backlog of D.I.E.T. podcasts that I had missed. The ten tips for dieting were really good.
It has been a major setback for me but I am going to start again and I am committed to doing well now.
