1. No sleep last night
2. got going very late today
3. messed up and had my coffee before taking reading this morning
4. BP 132/93 @ 93 bpm
5. ketone breath reading @ 42
6. blood sugar @ 120
7. weight down less than a pound today. Had a party for my little sisters friends here at the house last night. Had a couple of small cheats.
8. Didn't get much exercise in, save keeping up with a house full of teenagers.
9. Kcal burn @ 4,107 yesterday.
10. still fighting swelling in my feet and ankles. Took some Ibuprofen today to see if it helps.
11. try again to get my exercise routine off the ground today.
371.3 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 121.3 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Ryan, keep up the weight loss and the BG will come down. I am almost off medication and my last A1c was 5.5. 6 months ago it was 6.9. Blood pressure and pulse are down to normal too and I still have a ways to go weight wise. Also, my swelling has all but disappeared.

Have you always had swelling in your feet and ankles or is it new?

the swelling has only been happening off and on for the last year or so. at the same time that I really lost control of my weight. packed on about 100 pounds over the last 2 years.

I pretty much lost control of my weight when I got married. Every time my wife got pregnant she gained weight and I did too. After the baby was born, she lost it, I didn't. Times that by 4 kids and you see my problem. For the last 13 years I've been on medication. Just decided to get off it (with doctor's permission). On my way. You can do this too! We can all help each other!

Ibuprofen makes me retain fluid- feet and face. I stay away from it when I am dieting. I have heard other people say they retain fluid on Ibuprofen, as well.
