Pretty pleased with my progress given my relaxed attitude on eating over the holiday weekend. Ready to seriously kick it into gear again now. Also.... really feeling the need to bump up my exercise from my daily walk or bike ride. I don't belong to a gym and really don't want to add that monthly expense right now. BUT.... I know my next step needs to be some weights. I have 3#, 5#, and 10# hand weights, resistance bands, and a 4# medicine ball, but am not really sure what to do with them. Anyone have any good program/website/video suggestions for at home weight training using supplies like this?

Beachbody does a good job with DVD's. 21 Day Fix uses a couple sets of weights and shows variations for the resistance bands. Even if you don't follow that routine - you can use it as examples of how to use the weights in your own living room or home gym. It's more for weigh loss and fitness. If you want to pack on muscle - look at Body Beast.

I like the beach body videos too! I also like yoga and Pilates videos, they are very effective for me.

My wife does a video every morning, generally from youtube. There are a ton of free workout videos on there.

Yes Jeremy... Just found a ton on YouTube last night. I'm determined to try this without spending $$ on a gym or more videos. Thank God for the Internet and YouTube. :)

Hi Laura, thanks for you warm thoughts about me, I really appreciate it. You know Misty bought some hand weights and ordered the Body Beast. I would suggest using those weights you have, and maybe find a TV workout thing. I always thought Gilad, that Israeli, was a good workout show, but he may not be around anymore, not sure. Maybe kind of make up your own kind of workout. Good luck with it.

Pilates........great for tone. You buy a DVD vs. signing up for a class.
