Just got back from vacation/SIL wedding. The scale says I put in like 10 lbs. Not sure if it’s because I ate a bit too much or just need to settle back into the routine. Hopefully it’s the later. I’m starting to think there will never be a time where I can just trust myself with eating and will always have to track what I eat. I initially thought this would be something short term, but now I’m beginning to think that I’ll have to live with it forever. Ok whining over guess it’s time to get back to work and back into the routine. I can’t let myself dwell on the past for too long.

Tracking isn't so bad. It doesn't have to be precise really.... once you've reached the weight you'd like, the trick is to keep active and not go too overboard with the calories. It is the emotional eating that really is tough to overcome.

I've been on this journey for about 6+ years. It's a lifetime commitment...but for me it's worth it

Yeah I think I need to find the right balance. Right now I try to be very accurate which takes way too much time. Also, have to figure out how to stop emotional eating or maybe atleast limit it.
