Had a week off of caring for my mum, was meant to be restful, but the universe had other plans 🙄. Found a leak in my shed roof and covered the shed, garage window and myself in tar, but it's got new felt on and waterproof again! I also did some batch cooking ready for my mother's return today, which was actually harder work than imagined, but freezer is now full of grabable home cooked nosh. Her first request though is macaroni cheese, her favourite. Back to keeping an eye on my intake this week, but can't be assed entering my home cooking recipes, so just going to find a close similar already on here ... I bet mine is healthier anyway 🤫😂

home cooked is always healthier, I wouldn't eat that rubbish they stick in ready meals, all salt,sugar and e numbers, fake, non of it any good for us. batch cooking can be hard work when u have a few dishes on the go! hope ur mum's ok xx

I totally agree with the rubbish in ready meals Addison, most ingredients seem to be out a science lab! Mum is glad to be home, she didn't enjoy her time away, but I needed the rest, strangely though I slept better last night after she got home 🤷♀️.
