7 lbs lost is 3 weeks. It has felt slow, but steady. I get discouraged easily, because I want tobe at goal weight already, but I know I must be patient and be grateful for all the benefits I see already. I have much more energy and stamina, which would be worth it even if I didn't look thinner. The belly fat is frustrating because I didn't gain weight there when I was younger. Now 40, the battle of the bulge is real.

Hang in there, D. You may notice a change at the 10 pound point, as this is usually a dress size gone. As far as bellygoes, keep at the exercise. Mine didn't go away until I dropped below 25% body fat.

Don’t worry, when I first started I only lost 3 pounds and was getting really discouraged. But my friend reminded me I was building muscle and that weighs more than fat. So you are losing inches more at first! At least that’s how it is for me!

My personal maximum is usually 3.3 pounds every 9 days - about 10 pounds per month. Turtle pace and change to install a more healthy Food Plan for life is not a diet but a life change. Slow and steady wins the race !

Pushing into the 50’s. I’ve been struggling for years. I’m lucky if I lose a 1/2 or 1lb. a week. It is definitely at a snail’s pace

There are 3,500 calories in one pound of fat - If you want the body to consume one pound of body fat then you have to have a total Net Deficit of 3,500 calories - there is no "treat" days - where you eat up your deficit. That is true - and it does not take any more than eating too often to slow down the digestive process. Good for you because even a one pound loss shows a dedication and a deficit of 3,500 calories less consumed - better Food Plan equals healthier. Good for you.
