I'm a "recovered" anorexic, which means that when my weight gets out of hand my usual solution is to stop eating. After tons of international travel for work, knee surgery, a broken arm, sprained wrist, partially torn rotator cuff and a REALLY unexpected pregnancy, I was sitting at 25 pounds over my "normal" weight and I was about to give in to my old ways. Then I found the Dukan diet and decided to give it a whirl.

My expectations were pretty low because I am pretty much a carnivore as it is. I didn't think this diet would do much for me. So far, I've been wrong. I was at 170 on Tuesday (the day before I started the diet) and today I'm at 163. (I'm 5'10", so that isn't quite as porky as it sounds.) My skin is now glowing and looks about 10 years younger (YAY!!) and I have energy all of a sudden again.

I was supposed to go to the "cruise" phase by now, but I'm dreading the vegetables. I decided I will go with attack until eating vegetables doesn't sound disgusting, or until I stop losing, whichever comes first.

Onwards and upwards! (Well, except for my weight. I want that to keep going "downwards". :) )
170.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 25.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

The reason for the vegetables is for fiber. If you keep eating protein, without the fiber, you can end up extremely constipated. I would try to get some fiber in some how and drink plenty of water.
