I am so frustrated! I worked out every day somedays 2 hours, and watched what I ate very carefully and I gained weight. I think after 40 years of dieting my metabolism is out of wack. This week I am going to try to eat breakfast every day and try to get in more snacks. Hoping for a better week.

Make sure you are eating enough to fuel those workouts (don't go under 1000 calories a day if you can help it). If you don't eat enough to fuel your workout, you can sometimes gain. If you are working out more than you usually do, and your muscles are sore, your muscles retain water to help them heal. This can show on the scale as a temporary gain.

Did you do a lot of strength training? if so, that could be the reason, you could've just gained muscle. And just remember to hydrate :)

I have been strength training 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week. When I strength train I crave water.
