My whole life I have made excuses for myself as to why something happened the way it did. And part of my recovery process is learning to be accountable. Last night, after a horrible day I binged on junk food and went to sleep feeling like a horrible failure. This morning, as I was thinking about yesterday, I realized that my dr put me on a steroid to help alleviate some of the back pain I have been having as a result of damage caused by cancer. And I know, from chemotherapy, that steroids cause me to be irritable and hungry! Now, here comes that accountability thing....I want to believe that I could have handled my emotions differently. While I believe the medication played a part, this experience has shown me that I still MUST practice to be objective and introspective in all practices.
263.2 lb Lost so far: 2.2 lb.    Still to go: 73.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
