I weighed in this morning at 160 - weighing about 1.5 lbs less than I did yesterday. I was starting to get frustrated because I was working out twice as hard as normal, but I had platuead and wasn't losing any weight. I decided, however, it could have been due to the fact that I quit nursing and my body was adjusting to that. So, I'm not going to give up. I'm going to keep working out harder and keep losing weight. I went to a class at the gym last night that I really liked - Power Pump - and I'm totally feeling it today. Hopefully I can make it there again next week and keep this totally awful "good feeling" going. :)

When you start an exercise program or change the one you already have in any way (working out twice as hard as normal), your muscles retain water (they get little tears in the muscle fibers and water replaces the tears to help them heal). It can show on the scale as a gain or no loss. It is temporary. Drink plenty of water. With exercise, you may see your size go down a lot quicker than you see the scale move. This is because of fat loss. Fat loss is very important because you can be at goal weight and still carrying too much unhealthy fat on your body. Your doing everything right. Just have patience and stay consistent. It will happen.

Just like Stacie said, you've gotta just keep at it. You may notice a physical difference first and then the scale will follow.
