OW: 222 LBS 11/9/2012

About 6 months ago, I started FatSecret by downloading the Calorie Counter App determined to lose weight and wanting to be organized about it. Since then, I have OFFICIALLY lost over 40 POUNDS!!! Sure, I've become more active, changed my diet in many ways, and have incorporated supplements to boost my nutrition, but everything started for me just by downloading a simple app.

Since then, I have dutifully and GLADLY used FatSecret and the Calorie Counter app to keep my diet and exercise organized as well as act as a therapeutic tool for each and every weigh-in. Every step of the way I have used this app and it has a recorded a journey that many in the FatSecret community know is a life-changing experience and all I can say is THANK YOU FatSecret for developing this WONDERFULLY organized app and creating this HIGHLY informative community here.

I may not post here often since I do most of my work on the app but my weight loss journey has been VERY difficult as well as EXTREMELY rewarding and I felt no other place was appropriate to share my experience than here in the FatSecret community. So again I say, THANK YOU FATSECRET FOR HELPING ME REACH THIS MILESTONE!!! This place is a blessing and I hope others can feel a little inspiration and know that weight loss is not impossible as long as you stay motivated, stay positive, and know that every small milestone is a success and that you can't lose 40 pounds until you lose that FIRST pound.

As for me, this milestone is awesome but I'm still not satisfied and I still have more weight to get off. As always, BACK TO THE GRIND!!! #StillMotivated
181.8 lb Lost so far: 40.2 lb.    Still to go: 6.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
