So, it seemed like I had hit some kind of plateau for a few days which of course was very discouraging. However, I just kept saying ok this is going to give just don't cheat. It paid off with a weight loss today. I can't say how difficult it is to get beyond the discouragement and disappointment of not seeing the scale move when you are working so hard at making it move.
The rewards do far out weigh the discouragement and disappointment and that is what I just keep reminding myself.

Thanks for the post. I went down a tiny bit, then up a tiny bit, and it hasn't moved. Ugh. I have lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks, which is a little more than a traditional 2 pounds a week, I suppose.... It is very frustrating to resist all the desserts and breads, and still not lose weight. But, I feel like I've lost, and I am hoping that the scale moves soon, as you did!
