I am still not giving up, even though my eating habits have been bad lately. Yesterday I did better. And this morning I started off with my safe cup of fat free yogurt and hot tea. I'm sure I can stick to a sensible lunch. Then if I can just not overeat after 3 today I'll be okay. I have those wonderful Sweet Tango apples for snacks if I get hungry.
I was really happy to dip under 170 this morning. I've been trending into the 170s and that has really upset me. 170 is a major weight threshold to me. When I get above this weight I start noticing discomfort in my knees and gut. And I'll have to retrieve my old next-size-up clothes from GoodWill if I don't get this under control again.
My daughter is coming home in a month. I can't let her see me 15 pounds heavier than the last time she was here. Shame is a good motivator.
