For the first time in years, I rode my motorcycle to work today! Hey, guess what... my HEAD has lost weight. I was mildly surprised as I pulled onto the interstate to feel my helmet slide back a little as I picked up speed. By the time I was doing highway speeds, I could feel the tug of the helmet straps. I'll have to do some readjusting before I head back home at the end of the day.
On another note, my leather no longer fits. I have ONE quality leather jacket for motorcycle riding. It cost well over $300 AND I've got a huge "Lady Rider" patch on the back, plus other association patches on it so I really love my leather, but it is a 3x and I no longer am. I need something closer to an XL or smaller :-(. It's a good thing, but it's not... I can't afford to replace my leather (yet) but then again, the riding season is short up here (Maine) and will be over in another month to six weeks. By next riding season, I expect to be at least another 20# down, maybe more, so I guess I'll wait till tax return time to look at a new one.
