Day 4 or 5 of my personal 7 day challenge - Races a no go last night, had a sick child - bummer one of the best I love to see - Oh well, as a parent got roll with the punches -
I ate 6 bones of ribs total yesterday - a big pork steak, basically pork butt butchered in slice form , slathered in mustard with pickles and onion - had a bowl of ice cream - diet soda and water -
I am drinking too much diet soda but can't quit, will cut back - That's the way it works, smokers may also understand - My personality is of the addictive side more than less so I have to watch anything I do -
Very active , 100 again yesterday - played soccer in the heat in the past , blessed not to be affected by the heat as a lot of people are -
GSn Fan commented on the walleye - I'm from Missouri, my wife is from Michigan detroit area, her mother living with us now that her husband passed - My uncle in law lives in Michigan - He worked at Ford and also in his later years ran a fish charter service (walleye) - They also commented about trying to eat healthy - Any place you go, if you ask they will accommodate you - There always seems to be salads or soups , meals without lots of bread or rolls, and subs for fries with salad or something else - Be sure and ask -
The walleye place is a hole in the wall restaurant in St. Louis by the Airport Lambert 5 minutes away called Sunrise Breakfast or cafe - The food is big portions, good , chopped steak is a pound? The walleye fills 2/3 of the plate most times there and the people are so nice (I get it cajun cooked for me ) - A lot of older folks (me) love to eat there which is a sign of a great restaurant - I tip well because they undercharge - I want them to stick around!!!!!!!
today I had the chinese buffet with green beans, hot shrimp, fried cod lightly battered, 2 bowls hot sour soup - 6 pieces of the 1x1 pc of the mousse cake stuff, maybe equal to 1 piece of cake -
