My mom is Brazilian, and I’ve given birth to 3 children (bed-ridden for 2), so there some things I have accepted when it comes to my appearance. 1) My hips themselves aren’t going anywhere, and I’m ok with that😋, 2) I have excess skin on my stomach that food and exercise will not get rid of, but that’s ok, and 3) I have stretch marks that may never go away, but it’s natural. I will focus on what I can change instead of being ashamed about things I can’t.

I feel like crap. Nauseous. I’m trying to eat, but my body is like NOPE! Not going to mess up my days though... no eating half a loaf of 🍞. I’ll start with some applesauce with blueberries and go from there. I’ve cut refined sugar DRASTICALLY, and some people I know got sick because their bodies had become addicted to that... anyone know anything about that? Also... debating to put a “before” picture of here... I’ll be smiling in it though lol There’s a specific dress that I want to look good in. Maybe I’ll post a pic in that.
Non-calorie goal: I vape (please no rants... I know people can get passionate about it), and I’m much happier doing that than smoking, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to lessen how often I’m doing it. I bought a little mod with a puff counter (it counts how many times a person hits it.) My usual is about 80. Starting tomorrow it will be a 60 hit MAX.

I’m trying not to worry about half a pound or feel like a failure. I need to remember this is a long-term journey with a life-long goal. From now on I’ll take notice of my body fat %, water weight % and muscle weight % because that could change the implications of my weight. Gained a pound but my water weight increased? No problem. Gained two with decrease in body fat and increase in muscle? No problem. I have to keep in mind that while weight loss is an important part of the plan it’s just a small part of the goal! Be healthy, physically & mentally.
