Well, haven't been following diet at all, so what can I expect. Hubby just got diagnosed with gout, so now we have to watch the protein intake and dark green veggies. With my diabetes and both our high cholesterol this doesn't leave me with very much to eat so I should be losing lots of weight!
Kind of tired these days. Will try to post more often but I've been so beat lately, haven't felt up to it. Hope everyone is doing well. Take care!

I have elevated cholesterol too and, having done this diet, was able to reduce it considerably. My blood pressure was "borderline" and that has come into line as well. I don't see your "goal weight" posted so I cannot tell how far along that path you have come but, "nutritional healing," in general, can do a lot for a whole variety of problems. As a matter of fact there is a highly respected book on that subject called Perscription for Nutritional Healing (Bach) that has gone through several editions and *may* be of help (get it at the library if you feel it applies). Just hanging around here from time to time means you *intend* to get your weight under control and that in itself is an important start (you could be gaining instead of losing) so just give yourself time to get in the mood and, when you are ready, have another go at it. Good luck yshibata!

High cholesterol is a dangerous signal, should be careful.
No more than 4 eggs per week is recommended.
Take care!
