Is that the dr boz ratio thing

Hey Jen! Thanks for that. GKI stands for Glucose Ketone Index. After my old meter broke, I ordered one from Keto Mojo because I've heard many people praise it for its role in weight loss. Dr. Boz, despite being a nice person, tends to be long-winded, which can be frustrating. She uses a Keto Mojo and discusses the importance of monitoring GKI for weight loss and identifying foods that increase glucose levels and disrupt ketosis. I own her book and workbook, which are extensive, much like her chats, but they do contain some valuable insights. However, my decision to monitor my GKI wasn't influenced by her. Many doctors and advocates of the carnivore diet emphasize insulin's significant impact on weight loss. My goal was to identify foods that cause insulin spikes and potentially interrupt ketosis. In May, I struggled for 14 days with my diet and wondered why I wasn't losing weight. My curiosity and love for experimentation led me to monitor my GKI, and now the results speak for themselves. Now, I can make more informed decisions on how much and what I can eat, instead of guessing.

And the dang SARDINES! SHE CAN TAKE HER SARDINES AND. .. 🤣But yes, her info is solid. I had my resting metabolic rate tested last fall to confirm metabolism. My last ketone tester is dead too. I still can use the strips successfully. And have a glucose meter. I use Walmart brand ketone strips. The ones of Amazon didn't work. Total junk. Yeah, for having a great doc. I've got a great one too but can't get into him till September ! 😭

Sardines. People either love them or hate them. I have a whole bunch of them, but I tend to choose other foods before sardines. I view them as a survival food. I can't help it. It's the prepper in me...lol. Ketone strips are a good tool to use. I believe my meter cost $79 with everything, including a case, 110 ketone and glucose testing strips, lancing device, lancets, and testing fluid for the meter.) It was a good deal. Capital One sent me a big discount that I applied to my purchase. Shipping was free and I got it in a couple of days. It's not for everyone, but I am really committed to overcoming my obesity and the frightening future that holds for me if I don't. The doctor situation we are all facing is really precarious. Living in MA, we have a plethora of doctors, who are unquestioning robots. My last one, sent me home to die. So, I don't think very highly of those turgid, fecal sniffing guppies. Sorry, I didn't mean to insult guppies. ;))

Haha, ya, doctors are mostly asses. They blew my heart problem off too. Probably blaming me for being fat. I didn't give up and now have 2 great docs but can't get in. I had my meter when I started 16 months ago. Have you tried a continuous glucose monitor? I wore one for a week and it was amazing. I want to do it again for a month. I'm not going to do the lion diet yet. I think I'm too atressed and today i just wanted to face plant into someone bad, but resisted.

so is this AI, or just a spammer? I feel it's AI.

Good morning, Bubbles McBubble, that's a really weird and hostile comment to make between two people who have nothing to do with you. Dehumanizing people by calling them AI generated or spammers is not the way to "win friends and influence enemies". Just sayin'. I hope that you have a wonderfully blessed day.

sorry. you seemed like an advertisement. I'm seeing a lot of them online. if you're real, I apologise. As it is, continuous glucose monitors are good and you almost don't need to check ketones, although if there were a continuous ketone meter I'd do it - can't stand the stabby M'c stabstabs. Ketones & glucose are like calculus or something. continuous variable transmission. you can tell the state of the one, by the state of the other. and you can stick a cgm in your arm and leave it there for 2 weeks, and get 24 hrs a day readings from it.

BUBBLES, SHE'S NOT AN AI. Just read our conversion, And there IS A CONTINUOUS KETONE METER! Dr baker has been wearing one.

Bubbles, I appreciate your "apology". I would advise you to be more cautious before slandering people. It will be a while before I warm up to you. I'm extremely cautious around people who don't exercise self-disciple or respect for others. I hope that you understand. I wish you the best on your life's journey. Take care.
