I had intended to turn on my white noise last night but ended up sitting down to watch an older TV series called "Psych" on Amazon after a light dinner. The next thing I knew, I was jolted awake and disoriented by a YouTube video clip featuring a woman cackling uproariously while discussing the day's news, on a morning show. I can't remember what happened after I turned off the TV show on Amazon, (apparently, I turned on YouTube...obviously), but it interrupted my deep sleep at 12:30 a.m. Later, at 3:30 a.m., I managed to fall back asleep. Normally, I wake up at 4 a.m., but today I allowed myself to sleep until 7:30 a.m. I feel completely worn out, like a horse that's been ridden hard and put away wet. Now, the call of coffee beckons! Shake it off. It's time to start the day.
