Just got back from my walk. Reminder to self....bring Libby dog instead of Chloe dog...Chloe likes to stop to potty 3 times during the walk as she is only a puppy!
I survived yet ANOTHER family gathering! This time it was a graduation/farewell party for my nephew/godson who graduated from Syracuse University and in a week or two is off for 2 yrs to Mali where he is working for the peace corps. There was soooo much food! BUT, I came armed again with my dressing and an apple! I drank water, water, water while everyone else had wine. My siblings knew not to offer any to me :) I had a salad, some steamed peppers, onions and zucchini and a little less than half a sausage (I know no pork but it was the only alternative and the only negs are the possibilities of parasites in the pork, so I chose the charbroiled pieces). When dessert trays came out, I had my apple cut up with cinnamon on them. I have found I can go with the stevia on them now...I used to hate unsweetened apples and cinnamon...but now? DELICIOUS!
I'm down another 2 this morning so alls well here!
