I know a lot of it's water weight, but given the fact that I've been exercising for the last two days, in addition to the decrease in calories, has made me very positive for this first week.

Keeping my eye on the prize (so to speak), as it seems to have an energizing effect to post it out there for everyone in my group (and everyone else) to see. I'd like to win the money at the end of the 10 weeks, that much would be a nice little boon; however, for some strange reason, that isn't my only motivation.

By putting myself out there, by reading what everyone else has written, commenting and huzzahs for everyone else, finding new ways to prepare foods (which also gives me lots of ideas for my own healthy eating), in pushing myself to meet the POP challenges; I don't know. It just feels different this time around.

It's not easy, it's also going to take time, but what else can I say? I managed to quit smoking 1-2 packs of cigarettes a day after a 21 year habit. I had the motivation (being as healthy as possible so that I could have healthy babies in my late 30's/early 40's). If I can do that, why in the world can't I get healthy and more fit for myself?
