Hmmm... Do I have a psychic scale? My body weight went up a couple of pounds before I went over board in the eating department and out of balance. If I kept within my R.D.I. yesterday, I wonder if the numbers would have went back down? Gaining or losing weight is a sign of imbalance. Makes me wonder. I am successful in the fact that I logged every morsel that went into my mouth and know I need to be very careful with candy. Yesterday's binge started with a seemingly hamless piece of bit-o-honey candy.
Today is a new day and I am planning on getting exercise and choosing to eat healthier kind of food while staying between 1,200 and 1,500 calories. The balancing act is a delicate endeavor. Have a great weekend everyone. TOWANDA!!!!

I was just posting on another buddy's journal about the 2-lb fluctuation and water retention. I don't believe what we do the day before makes that big a difference, unless you're taking in a lot of salt. It's the overall trend maybe? I ate poorly yesterday, and then had an unexpected drop. I might eat healthily today, but then show a gain tomorrow morning. But probably over the course of a week, I'll have a drop from the previous week. Now you know that candy is an Achille's heel, so I hope you do well staying away from it! Especially with Halloween right around the corner. I need a plan on how to deal with that myself. :)

That is a good range to lose. Some guy is on TV advertising a shake of some sort saying if you eat less than 1000 calories a day you 'may' gain weight. I think if it's some days at least 800 one will be fine. When I was a nurse like twenty years ago we had patients on 800 calorie diets - lots of salad, and believe me they lost weight. 1200 to 1500 is a good range for a woman, I need to be around 1500-1700 calories daily WITH exercise. Hope you're doing well...
