Sometimes it takes 2 to 3 weeks to see noticeable changes on the scale. Keep going. You have done well so far.

Weight loss is 80% diet and only 20% exercise. Walking is also exercise. Don’t beat yourself up. Stick with watching calories and the weight loss will come.

Weights, now that’s an awesome exercise. Weights help you shape your body. Can shape body, legs, define arms 🙌🏼😏 It adds muscle so when you have lose skin you can fill it with muscle

You'll never burn enough calories to make up for bad eating habits.

Been there. From May to June this year I gained, it was SO hard! But then it went back on track. Don't give up! Your body is adjusting and we are learning patience;0

I've committed to 15 minutes a day. One day it's light weights, one day it's the stationary bike. Tell yourself "Just 15 minutes...", put it on the lowest setting, and see what you can do. I'll bet you have more "oomph" in you than you thought!

Thanks everyone. I was just diagnosed with diabetes so weight loss for me is about getting my A1C under control. Exercise is critical to blood glucose control. I eat a low carb diet already, and now that my body has adjusted to that, it's leveling off. No doubt I'll begin to basin I'd I don't name me deficit wider and burn of the glucose regularly. Diabetes research shows that one of the fastest ways to lower BG is to exercise, and the latest shows that people who exercise at intensity for 10 minutes at a time, 3 times a day, get seriously better results than those who just walk. My hips lock up when I try to run, hence the incline trainer I can put at a 40° angle. Walking at that incline 2 MPH gets the heart thumping

@phil "You'll never burn enough calories to make up for bad eating habits." Mansplaining 101 I know you think this is helpful advice...but it's just bossy and assumes a great deal.

Katrina weight loss is good too but making lower carb choices is what I’m trying to do. I have the same issue. Blood sugar doesn’t want to go down no matter how good I am.

I have a hard time too, being sick most of the time, so I just started with 15 minutes 3 times a week - now have moved to 20 minutes 3 times a week - just try to do what you can - even if it is just a little. Good luck with it!

@roseblue - I'm keeping My carbs to 30-35% of my diet, 10% less than the Diabetes Foundation recommends as the max. I've already lowered my A1C from 8.2 to 8.0 in the month since diagnosis, but the tbe exhaustion and other symptoms add just starting to subside so exercise has been sporadic at best. Check with your doc if you can't get sugars into the 125-150 range most of the time.
