Here's the things I celebrate.. Since April 1st.. 30+ pounds... gone. 25% of my way to goal...wow!
Challenges... I have always comforted myself with food.. sugar in my tea... a little ice cream here.. a bowl of pasta there. It has been a real challenge to no longer be comforted that way. Tough... what is next? Actually feel some emotions?? (insert sarcasm here)
I have this fear the weight loss is going to end any moment and the "slide" will be over. Part of the reason I am trying to pull away from looking at the scale every morning..
Keepin' on, keepin' on.

Congratulations on the 30+ pounds. You are doing awesome. And I understand. I am so stressing ove the rehearsal dinner, the wedding, and the reception this weekend, and the onkly thing I wnat to do is eat something. I am resisting, and my DH is making me extras of my favorites (hamburgers, zucchini) and I bought extra porkrinds and beef sausage snacks to have on hand, so that when I get the urge to put something in my mouth, it is the right thing. LOL Have a great day and rest of the week, FD. :)
