This month is proving a very difficult one as I am finding my feet trying to balance more exercise and more calories than the prior five months. I have been recording a decent average deficit of 850 cals per day but getting no weight loss. Plus I seem to have to make much more effort to not overeat than when I was on LCHF. My trousers do feel a little looser. I reckon that lost muscle from five months of diet is being replaced now I am eating normally . I thought my plan for phase two of slowly losing 1kg a month was going to be easy to do, but it's not. I will try a few days with a 2000 calories so as to be on track at month end.

Since LCHF worked so well for you in your main weightloss phase, maybe cutting back a bit on carbs again would help? Not as much as before, just not back to your pre-weight loss levels. Just a thought - it could be way off mark, of course 🤔

Phooka that's a very sensible idea. I will try that - Thanks for the thought
