Don't lose hope - such a weight gain could be explained by fluid retention which can happen for a variety of reasons!

Try not to let it get to you. You will have days like this and others days you will drop 2 pounds. Give yourself a little wiggle room with your numbers because they have a mind of there own. Your doing great !!!!

Just make sure your weighting in at the same time each time you weight bc if not then you could have done stuff to increase your weight during the day.. I like to weight first thing in the morning so that I good base line. Also, You might have gained muscle of which weighs more that fat.. and burns it faster for you!! Lets go with this idea.

Water weight can be caused by hormones, see when your monthly comes. It may be that simple. But over night gains is always water, not fat to take heart!

It sometimes takes time. Make sure you are logging all the food including sauces, fruit, etc and also drink lots of water. Definitely OPTIMISTIC!!! :) Don't be pessimistic because that's the only thing that can defeat you. If you see yourself stuck in a plateau, either eat less caloric and still fulfilling foods (typically veggies) or try doing light exercise. If you are already exercising, try to do a lightly longer exercise session. No need for too much intensity :) It's all in your hands, trust me!

Based on your diet calendar Roe it looks like you're getting a lot of sodium. I had a couple days last week that were really high - but I kept my calories and carbs right where I wanted them. My end of week weighin was up by 2 lbs. I've been trying to cut back on the sodium and drinking a lot of herbal tea (acts as a diuretic for me) and so far the 2 are gone and have taken a couple of their evil little friends with them!

thanks guys... love all the suggestions. Yea i am taking in lots of sodium. I do love my salt! I am drinking more water and tonight i just took my sugar and yikes went up to 240 and my net carbs for the day was 97. the only food I am eating that is taking up carbs is my yogurt! I love my yogurt.. It helps my sweet tooth and overall cravings... I think i need to find an alternative.. any suggestions? I only eat the vanilla oikos greek. I am so committed logging in every bite I take. This database is awesome it has everything!!!
