It was my son's 3rd birthday yesterday, and we had a mini party for him....surrounded by pizza, cake, and ice cream. Stayed on track, just had a single slice and a little of the Edy's Slow Churned no-sugar-added ice cream - which was quite good, and almost totally guilt-free.
I guess the long-term maintenance outlook is good...I really didn't want any more pizza, now that I know what's in it. If I'm going to eat pizza, I'll enjoy some of my wife's homemade, which she now does with a tasty whole grain crust, lowfat cheese, and ham.
