Didn't do too badly yesterday even though I ate at the sushi restaurant and went to a movie afterwards. No popcorn. But I want to go to the gym today.
Saw the movie "Joker" with my sis and nieces yesterday. Interesting take on the origin of that character, but relentlessly grim. Joaquin Phoenix was great in the role. You have to wonder if he identifies with that sort of misfit character in real life. I was keeping an eye out for red lasers in the dark and watching the exits.
Had bizarre dreams last night, not nightmares, but unsettling. In one segment, I'm traveling down an alley trying to avoid stepping in garbage. I climb up slippery stairs to a second story level where there's something like a library and workers are moving out boxes. I'm just looking for an exit to emerge on the other side of the alley, and when confronted by one of the librarians, I decide to make up an elaborate story about being there to work on a non-profit design project for the Audubon Society.
