Windy Day's Journal, 30 July 2024

Good morning! It's Tuesday, July 30 2024 and today we shall kick some butt! Whether at the office, or the gym, or on the yoga mat in the living room - wherever we are and whatever we are doing - today we can give it hell and feel great about it!

Finished up fast No.2 last night at 7pm. Had a nice supper and a bowl of fruit. Went to bed and had a nice sleep. Rose this morning to a scale that had not budged. But Im not discouraged. I had the feeling all day yesterday there had been no loss. Sooo. I will do my Aug 3 New Moon fast and compare. I will do one more Full moon fast to see if that holds up to the first fast results. I honestly think there is a gravitational pull that affects water weight loss. STILL. A fast is a fast and shld have had SOME results. So I am going to eat healthy, up protein, continue workouts (or do better I shld say) and work on boosting metabolism. Cayenne pepper, whatever it takes.

Im currently drinking four 17.6 ounce waters a day in addition to my coffees and teas. I shld be fairly hydrated! 🌊

When the going gets tough, right? Ive got goals to meet. Lets DO it. 💪

Thank you mountain man, hope you do as well. Post pics of that buck skull when you get it set up (my dad was a HUGE hunter/fisherman. He used to sell fox and wildcat pelts to a furrier. I was pretty much a tomboy, LOL)

I have read that a full moon makes you hold fluids and a new moon releases fluids. I do not fast because of my diabetes.

I tend to think that it's like most dieting. If you do it too much your body will adjust and you will get a diminishing return. Daily I.F. for 12-16 hours is usually more effective than a 24 hour fast which if done too much can actually cause your body to store fat. Fasting more than twice a week can cause arrhythmias and hypoglycemia in some people like me.

Golfgirl that is very interesting, I was wondering past few days if it might be the other way around...hold onto it during the waxing phase of the new moon. Hmmm. Ive got to read more. Im fascinated, lol

I am with you on that Morticia, definitely the body gets accustomed to what we are up to and so hangs on for dear life to every calorie. I would never fast that often. I was doing the IF 16/8 for awhile. Then I was doing the 5/2 which is basically just lower calories on 2 days (600). Im now trying to up my calories a couple days a week. Its all a crapshoot! LOL
