This weight is incorrect. It should actually be an approximate 20 lb gain. 😭 My journal entry disappeared explaining it, but basically my analog said I was 20lbs less than the new digital scale does. So I’m back to where I was months ago

You've still lost weight. Your starting weight would also be heavier on the new scale ... right? I think your 20 pound loss would still be fairly accurate. It's just that the new scale "moved" the starting point, and hence your entire weight algorithm, a little to be right. It's frustrating! But keep your chin up. The difference between the two scales really amounts to just "fudging the numbers." 💕

It will be ok. I agree with grammalaura, I think the loss is the same, the numbers just skewed. I had the same thing happen about a year ago when I got a new scale. The new one weighted me in heavier, but I just kept at it til I was back to the weight of the old scale and then started losing again from there to rectify the difference. Was VERY frustrating. Now Im at a standstill again and that is frustrating too. You got this Val. Dont let it get you too down youre doing just fine <3

Scales need to be calibrated but remember how your clothes are fitting and how you look in the mirror and don’t worry they are just numbers and you got this 🔥💪

Thank you Holly. Yes it’s quite disheartening when for months you think that you’re a certain weight & literally overnight you discover you actually weigh significantly more than you thought and have that much more to lose again (to reach goal). Yes you’re right, we got this 💯 🥰

Thank you Rishi. I totally forgot about the top I was about to donate & discovered it fit. Yes I must remember to focus more on the nsv I have along the way. 🥰

I wondered what happened when I seen your blank profile! Grammalaura is right...your weight is still 'down' even by the new scale calculations because your original start weight would have been higher too. I know it sucks big time to see the higher numbers on the new scale but you've still lost 20 pounds AND lost inches!! Just keep doing what you have been doing because it works for you - the proof is in your clothes!! keep looking forward Val_Lily ~ * You Got This! * ~

Val, we have a full moon on the 21st, Im up for fasting for 24 hrs on the 20th. Shall we give it a go?

Thank you for your words of encouragement Nadja. Logically I understand it isn’t a gain, but in the moment it was a shock to see such a discrepancy in the numbers. 🥰
