Can you hear me crying???!!!! I have been so good with this WOE and have not lost a single ounce. I am soooooo disgusted with myself. I just don't understand my body at all. I will not quit this time though.... I am sick of being a failure and I am not going to fail to stay on my WOE. I have every intention of beating this fat!!!!!
214.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 64.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Elizabeth, I am so terribly sorry you are hurting right now. I sense your despair and I'm sad that you are so frustrated hon. I've looked over a good number of your food journals and it appears you are not getting in all the water you need, or are you consuming enough vegetables on a regular daily basis. You need 12-15 net carbs of foundational veggies per day. And to expedite WL take your weight and divide that number by 2 - this is how many ounces of water you should drink everyday. My favorite thing to do is to fill up a 20oz container of water and gulp it down before and after meals, plus I carry it with me everywhere I go so it's easier to get all my water in. You can do this - I totally believe in you. Hang in there. Love ya

also, you are eating foods that are not allowable on Atkins Induction such as banana pudding, peanuts and some other things I saw. Be careful w/ the sour cream. I've learned in one of the Atkins diet books that sour cream can cause some ppl to stall...plus you had more than a regular serving on the food journal I saw. I feel like it stalled me some and I just added a teaspoon of it to my low carb chili... I cut it out of my eating plan and it seemed to help. Have you by any chance gone thru the Atkins instructional materials on Atkins.com or read the books? Because your WL is not happening it is apparent that you are not following the diet exactly as advised - evidenced in your food journaling, too. You will figure this out - I know you can do it... Praying for you, honey.

Thanks Evelyn for the comments. I have read the Atkins site and the older Atkins books multiple times. I was not aware that Sour Cream could make you stall. I only had it once with some taco meat so that is easy to cut out :) The water should not be the problem because I do drink plenty. I just don't log it. I will change my ways and start logging it as well as the food. The other things such as the Peanuts and the SF banana pudding are "doing the best I can under the circumstances" stuff. Can't say the Peanuts will never happen again :) I feel that they are better than the pizza or snickers bar or whatever else is around to eat. I know not to eat Cashews and I do eat macadamia nust when possible. Sometimes though, it is peanuts or almonds or nothing. Thanks for checking out my journal. I will try to keep a better log. Please keep checking it for me. By the way, I tried your soup - it was yummy. Thanks
