Another really good swim yesterday. Current is now back at its set point for where I was. I kept my strokes steady and didn't have as much variance on heart rate even though it's still elevated compared to before. That will go down. I'm wearing jeans this morning. It's finally cool enough and I'm wearing the smaller ones, so numbers below aside, I'm holding steady from earlier in the year. I honestly can't remember the last time I wore full length non-yardwork jeans because there is no time and space in pandemic 2020. Anyways, these are the 8's, so that's good.
Looking at breakout, 16 minutes in peak, 8 in cardio and 7 in warm up (will quit tracking this as soon as I'm staying in cardio again) 10.0 METs, 806 strokes, average heart rate upper 140s. That's an odd mix of numbers looking back. Used the big paddles the whole time, long strokes, so I was working. Not sure about the numbers below, know what I'm eating, know what I'm doing at this point. Will just keep doing that.
Now that I'm mobile, I'm adjusting my October goals. I have 7 swims under my belt and 12 days left in the month. In October 2019, I did 10 swims, so will go for 12 because work is still a little nuts. I need to figure out the walking effort thing as a separate issue. Still annoyed by that but all I can do it put in the work there. I should really try and do another 30 swims in 30 days, but it's not going to be this month. Maybe November.
Image below is jack o'lantern goals. I am nowhere near that talented, but maybe that's a better use of the second baking pumpkin?
