Missed checking in for a day but it looks like I am continuing to drop some weight. It is such a great feeling to know that by changing what I eat that I can change how my body responds to or reacts to food. My hope is to eventually dial down my autoimmune symptoms as well as secondarily to lose some weight. For the last couple of weeks I have been using the Keto type diet offered by this app. It has really got me started and now I plan on following a diet for autoimmune problems. I have been looking at Dr. Amy Meyers and the information she provides in her book, The Autoimmune Solution. Has anyone had any experience with her recommendations? For me, as a retired nurse, her information makes a lot of sense.
