Feeling great. Full fasting symptoms kicked in last night despite averaging about 1300k/day. High energy, insomnia, fat's warm to the touch, all of it.
Had a couple good laughs yesterday for the first time in a minute. Kids love to mock Boomers. Last night it was their Step Dad's taste in music. Not really listening to them banter. #1 says "Hey Dad, have you heard the Doobie Brothers latest Platinum release?". Obvious set up. I'm tryna feed my inner whiny fatty some yams, and DNGAF, but whatever, "no." Cue the wettest, nastiest imaginable YouTube flatulence track right outta 3rd grade. We cried.
Pretty pleased to still be gaining in the gym despite a legit deficit. Prepared myself to back off if necessary, but it hasn't been yet. Combination of nutrient timing before/after lifting, pre-lift carbs/caffeine, high rest, and low volume, plus still being way south of historical maxs, seems to be working. Feeling pretty "dialed in" atm, so gonna run with it til I'm done with it.
