I want to be 60-63kg and maintain it - so I’m in the top end of my goal 🙌🏻 woo! I’ll carry on to 60 so I have leeway to gain a bit if I eat more on holidays etc. I originally started at 105 kg … never in my dreams did I imagine I’d get to 70 kg, let alone 63kg. Now it’s about losing a little more, then maintaining - which is the hard part! Any tips from others about long term maintenance?

Whooo that’s amazing! Well done you 😃 🙌🏻
I was 77kg on 3rd Jan & now I’m 69kg My goal is 64kg
I do the 3 day Military Diet
Mon-Wed then for 4 days eat what I like but don’t go over 1,300
My treat day is usually Saturdays where I have a take away some chocolate & a few Whisky’s haha 😋
I also do 3 days at the Gym on the Treadmill doing the walking up hill for 30 mins
Then the Rowing Machine for
15 mins that’s it
It seems to be working for me
When I reach my goal I’ll probably still stick to a treat day once a week & not over indulge on the other days
If I find it creeping up again I’ll just do the 3 day Military 😃x

Keep it up. Try doing weights ou anything that builds muscle to help you maintain

You have got weight loss nailed! Maintenance takes a different mindset. Both are hard. What I do is set an upper limit that I refuse to go beyond. As soon as I start creeping up there I start recording and tightening up my diet as required. Exercise remains constant regardless of weight but I will adjust my ratio of cardio to weights if required.

Thanks for your replies everyone - yes, an upper limit not to go beyond sounds good, being mindful of what I’m eating and perhaps still keeping a diary so I can keep track of carbs and calories I think will work. I’m in the process of passing all my bigger clothes on and have been slowly replacing them with smaller ones. Plus sticking to no/low carbs. It’s just sometimes I want to let lose and pig out on chocolates and crisps but I guess I need to change this part of my mindset! 👍
