Plateau day 3. Fuuuuuck. I'm ready to give up and not do the 26 days.
132.8 lb Lost so far: 10.2 lb.    Still to go: 12.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

hang in there and don't starve yourself, it's a matter of eating healthy and going out for a walk.

it is not a plateau if it is only 3 days.. I have been stuck between the same 5-10 pounds for the last 5 months. Your body has stopped losing because you are eating 200-500 calories a day, that is a starvation diet anything you put in your body will be held because it thinks you are not going to feed it. Eat more food you may gain in the beginning but you will then lose it eventually.. I noticed you say you were doing HCG in a past journal entry... personaly its a stupid decision because once you stop are you going to continue eating 500 calories a day??? probably not... and guess what will happen when you go back to your old habits.. you will gain back the weight you lost. A normal human being should be eating at least 1200 calories a day (for women) and 1500 a day (for men). Dunno if you did this or not but research the HCG topic in the forums here there is a lot of information on it (from both sides - those who do it and like it and those who don't do it and think its stupid) personally if you want to lose weight fast cut a limb off at least then you will never gain the weight back.

I have to agree with pixidaisy (Well maybe not the cutting off limbs part)but the rest is right on. Don't give up, move to a different plan. Try 1200 calories a day split up something like this 200 breakfast 200 lunch 500 dinner and 3 100 snacks this way tour eating all day long and not starving putting your body into survival mode. Look at alanpfd's journal he increesed in take from 1200 to 1700 and after two weeks lost 3.5 lbs. The body is going to do every thing it can to keep from starving and that starts with storing fat and burning muscle. Best wishes to you no matter what you decide.

I was just discouraged on the HCG diet. It works. I have seen it first hand change people's lives. I have no idea why I am on a plateau, but I am this is Day 5 or Day 6 of being the same weight, which is fine. I am just being a brat and wanting it to come off smoother. On the HCG, my body is never actually hungry, because it is burning ONLY my fat. I do believe that HCG works. People are skeptical until they see their friends lose weight or themselves. It does work. My mom kept every single pound off when she came off. People just learn how to have a better lifestyle when they are on it. They teach themselves how to cook without sugar, butter, and extra calories. It teaches you how to enjoy food without all the extra additives. I work at a grocery store, so I used to drink probably 3 diet cokes within my shift. I won't even drink another soda after this. It is so terrible for you. The diet just makes you realize how you can easily purge things in your life you didn't think you could give up before. It's GREAT. I read online that women will plateau when they are about to start their period. I am about to start, so that is probably what it is.
