I have been eating off plan and this has not been as delightful as one might expect. It has, however, been instructive. I did gain weight, but not as much as I thought I might and this lets me know that the weight I have lost is true weight loss. I think in the back of my mind the progress I've made hadn't seemed quite real. I finally understand that I do not have to go back to being overweight. Another way of saying it is, I realized am capable of maintaining a healthier weight. I also learned that seasonal allergies are a trigger for me. I am happy to come back to structured eating and I now have a stronger belief in my ability to achieve and maintain normal weight.
