Bit of a bump this morning, but I'm a little salty from the seafood feast last night. That was so amazing though. Paella on NYE was great, but I had to watch it with the rice and I had company so I had to share my favorite things. Last night was me, pasta and seafood. And a healthy serving of wine which is probably also with me a little bit. The pesto is pretty salty, too. Lots of water to drink and movement planned today.It's gorgeous outside, no cold wind which means I will swim, too.
It's so nice to have everything working in the kitchen again. Thankfully, having lived in some pretty rural places where the power went out all the time I knew how to deal, but I like the stove lighting right up, etc. and not having to string a long heavy duty extension cord to make coffee or whatever. I did learn that I can't use the oven because the thermometer doesn't function without power so there's a safety feature that blocks it.
