Worked out with weights this morning. I was hoping for another weight drop after all the home improvement work and the elliptical stepper, but I'm flat lined. No biggie. It feels like I'm moving in the right direction. Two diet hurdles today: memorial service lunch (wife's Aunt died), and dessert/drinks with friends. The first shouldn't be too hard because there will be healthy food to choose. On the 2nd I need to limit myself to one small drink (or just drink coffee if possible) and skip the dessert. Skipping the dessert and/or drink will be tough -- more so for social reasons than for desire, if that makes sense.

Hey, Dheimer,
After losing 40 pounds, I've put 20 back on. But...at the weight I am now, I am four sizes smaller than I was last time I weight this amount. Moral? WEIGHT MEANS NOTHING....You are changing the composition of your body. This is the biggest testimony to me that mine has really, really changed. Muscle weighs MUCH more than fat and takes up MUCH less space! Before, I used a metabolism booster which ended up making me unable to sleep. I'm here to try and get this right!
