It's always a bit nightmarish when it's someone's birthday and the weekend. All sorts of cakes, tarts, and treats. I'm going to have put in extra work next week try and exercise and iron will for the remainder of the weekend. (If only my pain tolerance wasn't so high, this would be easier to navigate).

Try eating before you go? or a protein shake? It really helps to not overdo the fun stuff but it's also important to enjoy the occasion! I would advise just starting again afterwards without white knuckling through the whole week. Good luck and have a great time!

It would help to have something before jou go however, it's my fiance's birthday and his mom went full out. So I'm keeping to very small portions. I've already had a handful of Bevispas and pain killers and lots of mint tea. But it's hard when theres cakes and tarts right under your nose and before you know it, you're "hover-snacking".
