Is this a normal thing with the fasting that you do? The weight gain? Im sorry i hope this isn’t a stupid question i just dont have knowledge on the fasting and extreme fasting that you do.

@YOH... She's been on vacation, eating what she enjoyed. This is what those wonderful carbs do to some of us.

I would not normally eat a slice of carrot cake and a scoop of ice cream in the same day, or eat 4 oz of artisan cheese crackers in one sitting. I did eat as I liked on vacation and did not count calories nor worry about my weight. I'm throwing off lots of water right now. I think I did gain some body fat on vacay, but I wouldn't change a thing - except the overcooked salmon we ate at Simon & Seafort's that we were too polite to complain about 😖

@Joy, I'm not quite sure I understand it. As I ate more restaurant food, I progressively gained weight. It was harder to walk, my knees hurt, and the desserts were not as tasty as I remembered. The savory food was good (most of it). The best part of vacay was playing cards with grandkids (which we did not need to fly to AK to do). I still wanted to eat the things, despite the painful and uncomfortable effects. I needed to use a seatbelt extender for the flight home. It has taken 2 days of fasting to shed 10 lb fluid and get my knees back. Not discouraged, just sort of observing and now correcting.
