so I had a big wake up call this week. I binge every weekend and mess up the whole week. takes a few days for the weight to come back. I am on q deficit with a dietician that's been helping me so much. we agreed (due to my binging) that I can replace a meal with something nice but the calories should obviously be the same. I was really scared of doing this but I tried it on Monday and last night (replaced my lunch for a latte frappe and 6 nuggets) and I still lost! I am so surprised. I know it sounds silly but I was scared to eat during the week but then weekend comes and I would binge. This gives me more hope now that I realize I can still lose weight even if I indulge. I should just stay in my deficit and I should stop having anxiety about everything!
207.2 lb Lost so far: 40.8 lb.    Still to go: 41.9 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

well done. i agree as long as we remain in a calorie deficit we will lose weight. a wise woman once told me it is not what we eat but how much we eat and those words changed my lifeā£

Exactly that! You need to see it as a forever journey. If you cut out everything you love, you setting yourself up for disaster. I am extremely strict during the week and relaxed on the weekends! Life is hard and we need delicious things😅
